Plant Overview Employing 280 employees across 3 shifts Purchased in 1934 from Breyer’s Ice Cream and began producing caramel in 1935 Began producing Marshmallows and Marshmallow Crème in 1961 and Marbits (think dehydrated marshmallows found in cereal) in 1979 Kendallville is the sole producer of all our products Community Overview Kendallville is located about 30 minutes north of Fort Wayne and offers a small‑town community Responsibilities & Duties Efficiently dismantle, clean, and re‑assemble production equipment and support equipment Monitor and communicate any process or product abnormalities to your Supervisor, Team Leader, or Line Technician Support and guide temporary employees assigned to designated area Report all safety concerns and potential hazards to Supervisor, Team Leader, or Line Technician Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Team Leader Qualifications Self‑motivated with a strong drive for results Use simple mathematics Lift 50 pounds and able to climb a ladder Able to work in hot/humid conditions as well as areas that may contain starch/dust particles and egg Basic knowledge of manufacturing and/or food processing, quality standards, hygiene, work safety, etc. preferred Benefits & Compensation Overview Pay: $20.55 – $24.00 per hour Annual bonus program 12 paid holidays per year Paid vacation – up to 2 weeks in your first year Medical, dental, and vision insurance with HRA or HSA 401(k) with company match Paid parental leave, discounted YMCA membership, product purchase program, employee assistance program Work Schedule 3rd Monday‑Friday (10:30 p‑6:30 a) or 3rd Thursday‑Sunday (Thursday 8:30 p‑6:30 a, Friday 6:30 p‑6:30 a, Saturday 6 p‑6 a, Sunday 6 p‑4 a) Daily/weekly overtime possible Equal Employment Opportunity Kraft Heinz Foods Company is an equal opportunity employer.
