Role Description The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Phoenix Area, responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting functions of Vermeer Group LLC. The CFO will manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, financial reporting, and compliance, ensuring accurate and timely information for executive leadership and stakeholders. This role includes leading the finance team, developing internal controls, optimizing financial systems, and supporting strategic initiatives such as investments, capital structuring, and growth opportunities. The CFO will collaborate with other senior leaders to evaluate business performance, mitigate risk, and ensure alignment between financial strategy and operational goals. Day-to-day responsibilities also include liaising with external auditors, financial institutions, and regulatory bodies, while continuously improving processes and policies.
Qualifications

Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
- Strong skills in financial reporting, accounting principles, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Experience in strategic planning, business analysis, and supporting organizational growth and transformation.
- Proficiency in financial systems, ERP platforms, and data analysis tools to drive insight and efficiency.
- Proven leadership abilities, including managing and mentoring finance teams and collaborating with executive leadership.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA/CFA designation is strongly preferred.
- Experience as a senior finance leader (e.g., CFO, VP of Finance, Controller) in a growth-oriented or mid-sized organization.
- Strong understanding of risk management, corporate governance, and internal controls.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Phoenix Area and engage in hands-on collaboration with cross-functional teams.
