Summary of the Role
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Permitting & Regulatory Compliance Specialist II to join our growing team. In this role you will independently manage a defined caseload of permitting and compliance projects, owning delivery from application through approval. You'll be accountable for project execution, client communication, and regulatory outcomes, operating with minimal supervision and serving as the primary point of contact for assigned projects.Responsibilities
- Own and manage a defined caseload portfolio of permitting and compliance projects from initiation through approval. (e.g., 8–15+ active projects depending on complexity).
- Serve as the primary liaison between clients, agencies, and internal teams.
- Prepare, review, and submit complete and accurate permit applications.
- Analyze and respond to agency comments with clear, technically sound responses and monitor project timelines and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Identify risks early and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Conduct regulatory analysis and interpret applicable requirements as well as coordinate across disciplines (engineering, design, environmental, etc.).
