About the Role:

Stanglein Veterinary Clinic PC in Northampton, PA is looking for a passionate and skilled Certified Veterinary Technician to join their dedicated team. Responsibilities:

Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and medical procedures

Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian

Collect and process laboratory samples including blood, urine, and tissue

Perform and assist with diagnostic imaging including digital radiography

Monitor and care for patients under anesthesia and during post-operative recovery

Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding treatment plans and home care

Maintain accurate patient medical records using veterinary practice management software

Requirements:

Active Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in Pennsylvania

Graduate of an AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program

Experience with anesthesia monitoring, surgical assistance, and laboratory diagnostics

Proficiency in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and medication administration

Strong communication skills and a compassionate, client-focused demeanor

Ability to handle and restrain animals of various sizes safely and humanely

Team-oriented with the ability to multitask in a busy clinical setting
