Schedule: Hybrid (Monday–Wednesday in office) Compensation: Base up to $130,000 DOE | OT Eligible | 10% Annual Bonus About the Role A well-established law firm is seeking a Legal Transactions Paralegal to join its Legal Transactions group. The ideal candidate has a strong commercial real estate transactional background and is coming from a Big Law firm or comparable large firm environment. Responsibilities will include supporting attorneys on commercial real estate transactions, drafting and reviewing transactional documents, managing closings, and handling due diligence and related tasks throughout the deal lifecycle. Job Responsibilities Draft and distribute commercial real estate closing documents for acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and financings for North American and European transactions under the supervision of attorneys Prepare deal checklists and monitor status of deliverables Prepare signature page packets and coordinate delivery of same Assemble final executed documents for closings Assist in maintaining a digital database of closing files by tracking and filing new documents regularly Manage the procurement of lien releases following the release of mortgage debt Prepare and deliver corporate documents Assist in the drafting of various asset management documents, such as default notices, landlord consents, and lender consent requests Assist with word processing requests, including PDF conversion and redlines Notarize documents (including apostille) as needed Attend to various administrative tasks, including mailing and reconciling invoices Qualifications 2+ years of paralegal experience in commercial real estate (transactional) Experience at a Big Law or large, well-regarded firm strongly preferred Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active deals Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred Base salary up to $130,000, commensurate with experience.
