Join our top-notch team of approximately 43,500 diverse and high-performing professionals globally who are making their mark on some of the world’s most beloved brands, including DEWALT, BLACK+DECKER, CRAFTSMAN, STANLEY, CUB CADET, and HUSTLER.The Job:As a Project Engineer, you’ll be part of our Tools & Outdoors Product Execution team working as a hybrid employee.You’ll get to:Evaluate electronic designs that utilize lithium batteries in products.Conduct design reviews on technical documentation and electrical designs with a focus on system and product safety, quality, and best practices.Participate in all safety reviews, pull system-level safety concerns into module-level safety assessments, and conduct system Fault Hazard Analysis.Evaluate integration of platformed components and assemblies to ensure compatibility, functionality, and best practices.Detect and confirm critical test documentation where required and identify supplemental value-add requirements.Conduct system DFMEAs and product Hazard Fault Analysis with a viewpoint of the system as a whole and the interaction between individual products and/or subassemblies.Assist with defining and translating engineering technical requirements across software, electrical, and electromechanical disciplines based on product requirements.Liaise cross-organizationally to evaluate and address common issues.Create and maintain electrical systems engineering specifications and design guides.Cultivate and promote a common culture of concepts, terminology, and best practices throughout the wider organization.The Person:You love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions.
