Occupational Therapist PositionWe are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Gainesville. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with various conditions, including cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, and stroke rehabilitation. Your main goal will be to help patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational TherapyValid state license to practice Occupational TherapyExperience working with patients with various conditions, including geriatric rehabilitation, cerebral palsy, and orthopedic rehabilitationPreferred Qualifications:Experience with sensory integration therapyExperience with physical therapy and rehabilitationStrong communication and interpersonal skillsResponsibilities:Conduct patient evaluations to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plansProvide hands-on therapy to patients to improve their motor skills, coordination, and range of motionEducate patients and their families on how to perform daily activities safely and independentlyDocument patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient outcomesAs an Occupational Therapist, you will use your expertise in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, Geriatric Rehabilitation, Cerebral Palsy, Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Sensory Integration, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Stroke Rehabilitation to provide high-quality care to patients. You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in educating patients and their families on how to perform daily activities safely and independently. Additionally, your attention to detail and ability to document patient progress accurately will ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
