Location: VA Harrisonburg - 160016 Job Title: Porter Responsible for cleaning customer vehicles before delivery and maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the shop and office facilities. Responsibilities Ensure consistent execution of the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan. Maintain daily housekeeping of the office interior: empty garbage cans, clean floors, dust countertops, and work areas. Maintain daily housekeeping of the production area: empty waste cans, sweep floors, dispose of unwanted vehicle parts, and store tools and equipment properly. Keep parking lots and grounds orderly, including shoveling sidewalks when necessary. Pre‑wash customer vehicles before repairs begin. Clean exterior and interior of customer vehicles after repairs are complete. Transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to multitask. Automotive experience preferred. Clear close‑vision required. Age 18 or older. Valid driver’s license. Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail. Customer service skills. Positive attitude. Trustworthy and reliable. Willingness to learn. Other Requirements Pulling, pushing, carrying, walking, sitting, and standing for 5+ minutes. Stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl for 1+ minute. Operate a motor vehicle. Lift up to 50 pounds. Withstand exposure to working near moving mechanical parts. Physical Demands Repeated lifting, bending, and manual handling of vehicle parts. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Capacity to work in a shop environment with exposure to cleaning chemicals and moving equipment.
