Insight Global is looking for a Printer Technician in the Houston Med Center area to assist a leading healthcare provider. During the course of the project, this person will assist in rationalizing to migrate off roughly 2000 non-network printers of the total 8000 printer devices while also helping the team in limited desktop support assistance. The ideal candidate will respond to a ticketing system in ServiceNow to provide phone, email, and in person printer hardware support as needed to internal and external users. They will also be expected to assist with printer configurations, paper jams, toner replacements, paper loading, network installations, etc.

we need an experience printer technician that can
- Repair HP printers and order replacement parts
- Utilize HP Security Manager console to enroll printers in secure print and centralized management
- Experience with Zebra printers or similar
- Experience with print servers like LRS or similar
- Aptitude to learn additional technical skills to support the service operations team including device imaging, application deployment, iphone and ipad support
- Experience with using a ticketing system like Service Now or similar to track work and provide status updates
- Ability to communicate with customers and follow up as needed
