Senior Manager, Strategy Development

This position is fully onsite at our Santa Ana office, allowing for real-time teamwork, immediate problem-solving, and a strong sense of community among our team members.Who You Are:As a Senior Manager in Strategy Development, you will be reporting to your group’s Director while leading day-to-day client engagements and project execution across the full project lifecycle to implement cost savings and drive client engagement. You will have the opportunity to engage with Fortune 1000 and Fortune 500 companies spanning diverse industries, interacting with C-level contacts. The ideal candidate demonstrates time management skills with the ability to work multiple projects and meet deadlines. As the dynamic requirements of the client and project change, you’ll have the chance to make a direct impact and provide value to our clients’ operations. You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, are detail oriented and take pride in the work that you produce. You will be working collaboratively with our internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain the project scope and schedule. Building relationships with clients’ C-level leadership and key stakeholders is a necessity for success in this position. Objection handling and the ability to resolve complex situations is required. You evaluate client needs, shape engagement approach, and make informed decisions to drive project outcomes and client value.What You Will Do:Manage a portfolio of client engagements, aligning with broader account strategy established with the DirectorLead and contribute to client meetings, providing recommendations and guiding discussions toward engagement objectivesOwn development and execution of client deliverables, including synthesizing data insights and shaping project approach to support engagement objectivesDrive client engagements through project completion, leveraging Director input as needed for alignment on broader account strategyPartner with stakeholders to drive alignment, influence decision-making, and advance engagement prioritiesCreate and manage project management plansIdentify and manage project risks, determining appropriate mitigation strategies to maintain project continuity and outcomesExecute to project objectives; obtain client approval and implement maximum cost savings opportunitiesMaintain appropriate level of communication with internal and external stakeholdersResolve conflicts and provide solutions to clients in a timely mannerDemonstrate working knowledge of core expense areas that PRP manages for clientsExercise judgment in prioritizing work, determining project approach, and resolving complex client and operational challengesComplete additional duties as requiredWhat You Need:Bachelor's degree7-10 years of applicable project management/coordinator experienceBackground in management consulting preferredExcellent quantitative and qualitative skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracyProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)Ability to overcome obstacles and prioritize/manage workloadStrong communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to create and maintain effective relationshipsHigh EQ, strong conflict management skillsWho We Are:Profit Recovery Partners is a management consulting firm specializing in enterprise cost optimization and spend reduction. Learn more at The salary range for this position is: $94,700-$155,000.
