Adult Psychiatrist Position

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center is seeking a full-time (tenure track option) Adult Psychiatrist to join a thriving outpatient psychiatry clinic. The position is at the faculty rank of Assistant Professor.

Responsibilities

The position consists of general psychiatric clinical care, clinical supervision of trainees, and teaching. Provide supervision and teaching of residents and students.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted medical license at time of appointment
• MD, DO, or equivalent degree required.
• Completion of an ACGME accredited residency training program in Psychiatry.
• Departmental Preferences:
• Demonstrated experience in supervising trainees, and working in inpatient, outpatient, partial hospital or intensive outpatient settings.
• Strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to teaching and mentorship.
