About the Job Belmont Stakes and Saratoga Racing Season is fast approaching and we are looking for experienced and passionate cooks - (Grill, Deli, and Prep). Job Title: Cook. Location: Nelson Avenue, Saratoga Springs, New York. Job Type: Seasonal. Responsibilities: Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of meals following prescribed recipes and portion controls to meet the nutritional needs of patients and staff. Quality Assurance: Monitor food quality and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with health department regulations. Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate records of food inventory and communicate with the procurement team to ensure adequate supplies. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, nutritionists, and healthcare professionals to provide excellent culinary services. Adherence to Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including HACCP guidelines. Requirements: Proven experience as a Cook. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends. Education and Certification: High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary degree or relevant certification is advantageous.
