All delivered with a 100% performance test passage rate.Summary ObjectiveIn this role, you will assist with operations of material storage areas. Controlling and disseminating material to the production team. The focus is to assist by ensuring they have what they need in a timely manner.Essential FunctionsMay require operating a variety of heavy equipment, including:Class 7 & Class 5 ForkliftsCombiLiftReach TrucksSafely transport, load, and unload construction materials across the job site.Maintain daily equipment logs and perform pre-operation inspections and safety walk-arounds.Ensure proper care, routine cleaning, and basic maintenance of assigned equipment.Identify and report mechanical issues or potential safety hazards immediately.Always comply with company safety policies and OSHA regulations.Tasks may or may not be limited to operating equipment.Assist with controlling and disseminating material to the production team.May be required to work in various weather conditions and challenging terrain.Perform additional duties and tasks as directed by supervisors.Prepares for ISO 9001 and other auditsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.CompetenciesMaterial storage organization and inventory controlTimely material distribution to production teamsLoad planning and staging for production efficiencyConstruction material handling and trackingAbility to perform accurate measurements and calculations.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong Communication SkillsPhysical stamina and the ability to work in various conditions (e.g., confined areas, heights)Work LocationThis position will work out of the Normandy Manufacturing Facility in Jacksonville, FL. This position is not approved for telecommuting or working remotely.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is sometimes exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee must frequently lift or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position.
