Description:
The Inventory Control & Supply Specialist supports the accurate receipt, tracking, movement, and reporting of materials within a high-volume warehouse and distribution environment. This position is responsible for processing incoming inventory, coordinating material flow, preparing print orders and related documentation, maintaining inventory records, conducting cycle counts and annual inventories, and researching and resolving discrepancies. The specialist also develops weekly and monthly inventory and financial reports, maintains standard operating procedures, and provides day-to-day work direction to help ensure materials are properly accounted for and warehouse operations remain organized, efficient, and accurate.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory activities, including receiving, processing, storing, and coordinating the movement of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory, transaction, and material-control records in applicable systems and tracking tools.
- Prepare print orders and related documentation, including SF-1 forms.
- Generate weekly and monthly inventory, operational, and financial reports.
- Conduct cycle counts, physical inventories, and annual inventory activities.
- Research, document, and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and identify recurring issues, trends, or process gaps.
- Maintain and update standard operating procedures, work instructions, and inventory records.
- Provide clear day-to-day task direction to assigned personnel and coordinate work priorities with supervisors.
- Support receiving, order fulfillment, material handling, and other warehouse activities as needed.
- Follow applicable safety, security, quality-control, and information-handling procedures.
- Perform other related supply and inventory duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in inventory control, supply support, warehouse operations, logistics, material management, or a related field.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Experience conducting physical inventories, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and recordkeeping skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of inventory-management practices and discrepancy-resolution procedures.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to work onsite in Pueblo, Colorado, five days per week during the established operating schedule.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds and to work safely in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to successfully complete applicable pre-employment screening and background requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: $27.12 per hour.

This position is contingent upon contract award. HeiTech Services is proactively identifying qualified candidates in anticipation of a potential federal contract award.
