Staffing Manager / Onsite Recruiter

The Greer Group is seeking an experienced Staffing Manager / Onsite Recruiter to support one a Global client's operations in the Newton area.

Position Overview

As an Onsite Staffing Manager, you will serve as the primary HR and staffing partner for one or more client locations. You will manage the recruiting, hiring, onboarding, employee engagement, and daily workforce operations that help our clients achieve their production and business goals.

While this position is based near Newton , NC , occasional travel to other client locations within a few hours' drive may be required to assist with onsite staffing initiatives and operational support.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and hire qualified employees
• Review job requirements and develop recruiting strategies
• Conduct new hire orientations and onboarding
• Complete background checks, drug screens, and I-9/E-Verify compliance
• Manage employee attendance, performance, coaching, and corrective action
• Build positive relationships with client supervisors and temporary employees
• Resolve employee relations issues with professionalism and urgency
• Track workforce metrics including turnover, attendance, hours worked, and hiring activity
• Manage workers' compensation reporting, investigations, and return-to-work processes
• Maintain accurate employee records within HRIS, ATS, VMS, and client systems, Kronos
• Manage the Payroll hours to be processed at Corporate
• Partner with operations leadership to provide consultative staffing and HR solutions
• Ensure all client and company compliance standards are met

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered
• Minimum 2 years of experience in staffing, recruiting, human resources, onsite management, or operations leadership
• Experience supporting manufacturing, warehouse, production, distribution, administrative, professional, or technical environments preferred
• Strong interviewing and employee relations skills
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS/Applicant Tracking Systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed
