Senior Data Architect

Salary: $123,000 - 163,000 per year Requirements:

• We are seeking someone with 10+ years of experience in data architecture and data modeling.
• We need strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• We are looking for a background in designing secure, governed data environments.
• We require practical working knowledge of the Synapse environment.
• We expect familiarity with ingestion, data lakes or lakehouses, pipelines, data modeling, security, and access controls.

• We want you to help define appropriate row-level and data-access security.
• We expect you to collaborate closely with engineers, DBAs, business stakeholders, and other teams.
• We need you to assess the current environment and provide recommendations on best practices for the future.
• We want you to document the architecture, key decisions, lessons learned, and implementation standards.

We are Kforce and we are supporting a client in Orem, Utah as they evaluate Microsoft Fabric while Microsoft moves away from Synapse over the long term. This role is centered on an initial proof of concept that will serve as both a use case and a learning environment for the organization.
