Quality Technician - 1st Shift

Job Posting We are adding a highly capable Quality Technician to our growing team in Evansville, Wisconsin. This is not a desk job. We need a hands-on, highly visible professional who thrives on the production floor and takes pride in preventing defects before they happen. You will partner directly with our incoming Quality Manager and production operators to investigate scrap, resolve root causes, and ensure our manufacturing processes meet the highest standards. If you are mechanically inclined, communicate well with production teams, and want to take true ownership of product quality, this is where you belong. What You'll Do Audit production operations and inspect materials to ensure total compliance with our established quality requirements. Investigate scrap, rework, and nonconforming products to uncover root causes and implement lasting corrective actions. Coach and mentor production employees on manufacturing best practices and quality expectations in a collaborative, respectful way. Alert leadership to any conditions that could negatively impact our safety, delivery, or productivity metrics. Participate actively in Material Review Board meetings and continuous improvement initiatives to drive our quality culture forward. What You'll Bring Three to five years of quality experience in a foundry, heavy industrial, or manufacturing environment. Strong practical ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications. Proven troubleshooting skills with the confidence to investigate defects and determine root causes independently. A commitment to working safely in a heavy industrial environment and the ability to work a reliable 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM weekday schedule.
