Description

• Conduct evaluations of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, creating personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs
• Apply effective physical therapy techniques focusing on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional ability
• Team up with nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
• Inform and educate patients along with their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge processes, and vital home exercises
• Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress, adhering to all facility and regulatory standards

Education

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Valid state license as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred CPR certification
• While not required, specialized certifications in areas such as neurology or geriatrics are a plus

• Previous experience in physical therapy is highly regarded
