Full Stack Developer

Full Stack DeveloperWe are seeking a Full Stack Developer for a contract position. The successful candidate will follow the software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. This role involves collaboration with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency in a backend-focused team supporting video lineup services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs.Assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements.Review functional requirements, analysis, and design documents to provide feedback.Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.Develop and maintain operational and system-level documentation.Support ad hoc projects, including version and infrastructure upgrades.Contribute to feature enhancements and the creation of new APIs for product asks.Required QualificationsAn ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer.Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in Java, with a focus on backend development (approximately 80% backend vs. 20% front-end).Recent hands-on front-end experience with JavaScript and Node.js.Knowledge of Microservices and general REST APIs.Experience with Kubernetes and Spring.Preferred QualificationsDatabase experience, including MongoDB, SQL, AWS, and Oracle databases.Experience with DocumentDB.Familiarity with messaging systems such as Redis, Kafka, or ActiveMQ.A proactive personality with an excitement and willingness to expand technical knowledge.Pay RangeThe anticipated pay range for this position is $50.00 to $60.00 per hour.BenefitsEverforth Apex offers a range of supplemental benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other insurance plans that offer an optional layer of financial protection.
