Job Description:

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Location: Glenridge Augusta
Schedule: Full-time (36 hours/week)

Shift: Nights (7p-7a)

$10000 sign-on bonus potential for experienced CNAs

To qualify for the bonus:

• Must have one year of CNA experience
• Must accept at least a 30-hour-per-week position.
• Current MaineGeneral employees are ineligible; former MaineGeneral employees are ineligible until more than 1 year of separation from employment

What Youll Do:

• Performs basic patient care activities within the scope of practice. Assists patients with meeting their emotional physical and spiritual needs.
• Greets patients and visitors. Answers screens and routes telephone calls. Calls codes pages and overhead announcements as requested.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in physical mental and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
• Assists with keeping unit and patient rooms stocked clean and orderly.

What You Bring:

• Active State of Maine CNA certification.
• Prior experience working with individuals affected by Alzheimers and dementia is preferred.
• Compassion patience and strong communication skills

Compensation Information:

$19.65 - $34.39

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience qualifications skills and market addition to base pay eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift weekend holiday on-call and other applicable differentials.
