Assistant Maintenance Manager

Assistant Maintenance Manager - JLL The Assistant Maintenance Manager leads a team of maintenance mechanics, robotics, and controls systems technicians in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring a safe work environment and meeting operational KPIs. Responsibilities include supervising preventive maintenance, handling tickets, maintaining inventory, conducting audits, and supporting multi‑site production with customer‑focused service. The role also involves budgeting, project planning, vendor management, and on‑call emergency support. Essential Functions Partner with Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to enforce safety standards. Track labor KPIs and manage scheduling of maintenance tickets. Oversee building cleanliness and perform daily/weekly cleanliness audits. Implement preventive, predictive, and condition‑based maintenance programs. Maintain client‑centric relationships with operational stakeholders. Assist in budget development and vendor management. Provide performance feedback and conduct written appraisals, including disciplinary actions. Travel as required to support network needs. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Prior leadership experience. Experience with industrial machinery, electrical systems, and electronic controls maintenance. Proficiency in scheduling and inventory tracking. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Flexibility to work various shifts and alternative work schedules. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing budgets and vendors. Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS). Project management experience. Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Physical Demands Requires standing for prolonged periods, walking extensively, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking. Lifting parts and tools up to 49 pounds. Operations may involve elevated heights, small spaces, dust, fumes, hot/cold temperatures, noise, vibration, and uneven surfaces. Compensation Estimated salary: $97,500.00 – $132,413.00 USD per year (range is an estimate; final compensation determined by qualifications and market conditions).
