Description Ensure Contract Document Logs are established and maintained Ensure status reports on RFIs, Submittals and other documents are prepared and presented Write effective scopes of work for bid packages Issue requests for quotes and follow up with subcontractors Timely document field quality activities Prepare change management reports, estimates and other cost report documents Establish and maintain the project quality files and documentation systems Promote organizational change initiatives and adapt to new structures and processes Understand customer goals and needs and act with urgency to demonstrate value Develop industry relationships and expand professional networks with potential to generate opportunities Abide by the company Code of Conduct daily Create and maintain construction schedules with critical path methods Profile / Qualifications 5-10 years in commercial and podium multi-family projects preferred Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred Knowledge of construction principals/practices Experience directing and coordinating trades Experience working with a Project Management team and successful completion of projects Knowledge of San Diego trades and permit process a plus Solid computer skills with working knowledge of MS Office Excellent communication and leadership Job Offer Competitive base salary ($80k-$95k) depending on experience Annual bonus Full benefits package and 401(k) Extensive paid time off Growth and career advancement opportunities Great opportunity in San Diego with a full service general contractor MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
