Forklift operator- sit-down/stand-up

We are seeking experienced, safety-minded Forklift Operators proficient in operating both sit-down and stand-up (reach truck/order picker) forklifts. In this role, you will be responsible for loading, unloading, moving, and staging materials throughout production and warehouse areas. Theideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, thrives in a high-volume environment, and places the safety of themselves and their teammates above all else. Prior certification required- Minimum of 6 months experience within the last year operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts Familiarity with RF scanners and basic warehouse inventory tracking Ability to work in environments that may fluctuate in temperature Must be dependable- attendance is crucial Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 35-40 lbs comfortably throughout an 8-10 hour shift Maintain a clean, organized workspace Resume is required. Please submit for interview consideration. salary: $18 - $20 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: High School Responsibilities Dual-Equipment Operation: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to navigate narrow aisles, high racks, and loading docks. Loading & Unloading: Unload incoming freight from trailers; load outgoing shipments securely to prevent damage transit. Put-away & Replenishment: Transport palletized goods to designated storage zones and elevate materials into high-bay racking systems. Order Picking & Staging: Retrieve bulk pallets or pull partial orders to stage them for the shipping or production teams. Pre-Shift Inspections: Conduct mandatory daily safety checklists on equipment (checking fluids, hydraulics, brakes, and battery/fuel levels) and report defects immediately. Inventory Accuracy: Use RF scanners to scan barcodes, verify part numbers, and update inventory locations in our Warehouse Management System (WMS). Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized workspace by sweeping aisles, disposing of shrink wrap/broken pallets, and keeping pedestrian walkways clear.
