Echo Vascular Ultrasound Tech - Travel Job

Join Jackson HealthPros team as an Echo Vascular Ultrasound Tech, also known as Echo Vascular Technologist, where you'll use your expertise to perform both cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations, patient preparation, documenting results, and ensuring patient comfort throughout the procedure while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International
• 2 years of experience as an Echo Vascular Ultrasound Tech
• BLS certification
• Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from an accredited Cardiac Diagnostic Sonography program
• Registry eligible for Adult Echocardiography through ARDMS
• RCS certification eligible through CCI
• Experience with adult transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), including inpatient portable and outpatient echocardiography
• Structural heart familiarity
• Experience with ultrasound contrast and agitated saline use
• Experience with adult transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), including TEE probe high-level disinfection (HLD)
• Experience with adult stress echocardiography (STE)

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 0700-1500
• On-call required approximately every 5th weekend from Friday to Monday, one night per week, and potential holiday coverage
• Must respond within 1 hour when on call
