Job Title: Travel RN - Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care Cath Lab RN experience License: Current RN License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, & PALS required Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 1-year current acute care Cath Lab RN experience. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: The Cath Lab is looking for a travel Registered Nurse. We perform a variety of procedures with both pediatric and adult patients in cardiac, vascular, electrophysiology, and congenital service lines. The Cath Lab consists of 4 cardiovascular labs. The team includes 8 staff members with a mix of RNs, charge nurses, and support staff. Registered Nurses typically work 4-10 hour days or 5-8 hour days with weekly night call and rotating weekend call. Patient ratios are estimated at 1:1 or 1:2. The skills most recruited for include travel RN experience and a positive, self-motivated attitude. Communication skills and the ability to work as a productive team member are essential. Preferred qualifications include electrophysiology experience and Cath Lab pediatrics experience. Typical procedures performed include left heart catheterization, right heart catheterization, congenital procedures, vascular procedures, and electrophysiology procedures.
