Our client, a leading organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a SharePoint Admin to join their team. As a SharePoint Admin, you will be part of the IT Department supporting various business units. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: SharePoint Admin (No C2C) Location: Laurel, Maryland Pay Range: $48/hr depending on years of experience What's the Job? Serve as the primary technical resource for SharePoint Online supporting internal teams and leadership. Coordinate with departments to plan and execute migration of on-premises file shares to SharePoint Online. Work closely with external vendors, such as Planet Technologies, to deliver training and user enablement. Configure, manage, and support SharePoint Online sites, libraries, permissions, and governance standards. Assist departments in organizing and structuring content during migration to enhance usability and compliance. What's Needed? Hands‑on experience supporting SharePoint Online in a cloud‑only environment. Proven ability to migrate file shares to SharePoint Online effectively. Strong communication skills to work with non‑technical users and guide them through change. Excellent coordination and organizational skills across multiple departments.
