Cherry Picker Forklift Operator Tasks & Duties

• Operate a cherry picker forklift (Order Picker) to retrieve and move products from warehouse racks.

• Pick, pack, and stage customer orders accurately based on order sheets or RF scanners.

• Safely load, unload, and transport products within the warehouse.

• Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues

• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper handling and documentation.

• Meet quota of 5060 orders per hour, depending on the cherry picker used

• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies

• Assist with general warehouse duties such as restocking, labeling, or cleaning as needed.

Cherry Picker Forklift Operator Shift Info

• Day Shift, 6:00am to 2:30pm

• Sunday - Friday (Off Saturdays and one weekday)

Cherry Picker Forklift Operator Qualifications (Requirements/Skills)

• Previous experience operating a cherry picker / order picker forklift preferred

• Minimum 2yrs experience, have operated the picker within the last 3 months

• Valid forklift certification or willingness to become certified.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at elevated heights.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety practices

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
