Warehouse Material Handler

Responsible for the accurate and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing lists, and report any discrepancies or damage.
• Unload and load trucks using appropriate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Store materials in designated locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
• Pick and stage orders accurately and efficiently according to established procedures.
• Pack products securely for shipment, adhering to company standards and customer requirements.
• Prepare shipping documents, including labels and manifests.
• Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, performing routine inspections and maintenance checks.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.

Job Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
