Project Manager, Industrial Water Treatment

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to oversee industrial water treatment projects from pre-construction through execution and closeout. This role requires a strong background in mechanical systems, experience managing RFPs, and the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders including vendors, logistics, and transportation teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively balance technical, operational, and client-facing responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage industrial water treatment projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budgetReview, develop, and respond to mechanical RFPs, including scope definition, cost estimates, and proposal coordinationSupport pre-construction planning, including scheduling, budgeting, risk assessment, and resource allocationCoordinate closely with logistics and transportation teams to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials to job sitesServe as the primary point of contact for vendors and subcontractors, including sourcing, negotiation, and performance managementOversee procurement processes and ensure alignment with project timelines and specificationsCollaborate with engineering, sales, and field service teams to ensure seamless project executionMonitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies as neededMaintain clear and consistent communication with internal stakeholders and clientsEnsure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, and company policiesPrepare and present project updates, reports, and documentationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)3–7+ years of project management experience in industrial water treatment, mechanical systems, or related industriesProven experience with mechanical RFPs and pre-construction processesStrong understanding of project management methodologies and toolsExperience coordinating logistics, transportation, and material delivery for large-scale projectsDemonstrated ability to manage vendors and subcontractors effectivelyExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven environmentPreferred QualificationsExperience working with glycol systems (design, application, or maintenance)Familiarity with industrial water treatment equipment, systems, and processesKey CompetenciesStrong leadership and decision-making skillsAttention to detail with a proactive mindsetAbility to build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teamsAdaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentAT WILL STATEMENTEmployment with ChemTreat is on an at-will basis, which means that either the employee or ChemTreat can terminate the employment relationship at any time and for any reason (or no reason), with or without notice, unless the employee and ChemTreat have entered a written agreement signed by the employee and a duly authorized representative of ChemTreat.EQUAL OPPORTUNITYChemTreat, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The compensation range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 USD per year.
