We are seeking a reliable, flexible, and caring Daycare Floater Teacher to support our classrooms throughout the day. This role is essential to keeping our center running smoothly and providing consistent care for our children. The Floater Teacher will move between classrooms to cover lunch breaks and will take over a designated classroom in the afternoons.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, works well with different age groups, and can adapt quickly to changing needs.

• Provide lunch and break coverage across multiple classrooms
• Take over and manage a classroom independently during afternoon hours
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children
• Support daily routines including meals, naps, diapering, and transitions
• Follow classroom schedules, center policies, and state licensing regulations
• Assist with classroom clean-up and organization
• Communicate effectively with lead teachers and administration
• Step in where needed based on enrollment, staffing, or daily changes

• Passion for working with young children
• Ability to work with multiple age groups (infants through preschool)
• Flexible, dependable, and punctual
• Comfortable stepping into different classrooms throughout the day
• Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
• Ability to manage a classroom independently when needed
• Previous childcare experience preferred (but not required)
• Must meet state licensing requirements (background check, CPR/First Aid, etc.)
