Oracle Fusion Business Analyst ( (Financial Modules): Republic Services

Oracle Fusion Business Analyst Focus is on Accounts Receivables and Cash Applications modules. Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented Oracle Fusion Business Analyst with strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials to support a long-term enterprise initiative with Republic Services. This role will work closely with both technical teams and finance stakeholders to analyze incidents, gather requirements, and improve Oracle Fusion Financials processes and systems. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills, financial systems knowledge, and technical proficiency to translate business needs into scalable solutions while supporting ongoing enhancements and operational stability. This is a long-term contract opportunity through 2027 based in Phoenix, AZ, requiring onsite presence 4 days per week in the Desert Ridge / North Scottsdale area. Key Responsibilities: Analyze incidents, defects, and enhancement requests within Oracle Fusion Financials modules, identifying root causes and recommending solutions. Partner with finance stakeholders and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document detailed business and technical requirements. Translate complex functional requirements into clear technical specifications aligned with system capabilities. Participate in solution design, configuration, testing, and debugging within Oracle Fusion Financials. Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle Fusion Financials including configuration, workflows, security roles, and reporting. Manage and prioritize a high volume of support tickets, identifying trends and opportunities for process or system improvements. Work with development teams to implement automation and process improvements across financial systems. Create and maintain documentation including process flows, technical diagrams, and post-implementation support materials. Ensure adherence to change management, testing, and release management best practices throughout project lifecycles. Required Qualifications: Experience as a Business Analyst supporting Oracle Fusion Financials. Strong understanding of financial modules within Oracle Fusion. Experience analyzing system incidents and enhancement requests in enterprise ERP environments. Ability to translate business requirements into technical documentation and specifications. Strong collaboration skills working with finance stakeholders, developers, and technical teams. Experience supporting testing, debugging, and system enhancements within financial systems. Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting large enterprise Oracle Fusion environments. Exposure to financial reporting, security roles, and workflow configurations within Oracle Fusion. Experience working within structured change management and ticketing environments.
