Job Description Product Safety and Stewardship Mid-Career Practitioner - flexible US location Irvine or Los Angeles, CA, preferably Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. We prefer for this person to be situated in the Irvine or Los Angeles, CA offices to mentor and manage local staff and to conduct local business development; however, we will also consider a candidate with the right experience working from another location. To succeed in this role, you must have at least a Bachelor’s but preferably a Master’s or PhD degree in chemistry, toxicology, risk assessment, or related scientific fields, and at least 7 years in the consulting field or in industry working in product regulatory compliance, product stewardship, chemical management, or related areas. You will join our Health Sciences Spearhead within the Environmental Health market in California As our new Product Safety and Stewardship Mid-Career Practitioner, you will be part of a team that provides risk management and regulatory compliance assistance to an international client base. Your key tasks and responsibilities Exercising expertise and competence in product chemistry, regulatory compliance, exposure and risk assessment, toxicology, and/or other relevant disciplines to produce technical reports to clients. Work with senior practitioners to publish articles and make presentations to maintain and/or increase recognition as a subject matter expert by peers in one or more of the above disciplines. Exhibit excellent analytical and verbal and written communication skills. Employ effective project managements skills and client relationship skills to successfully act as a trusted advisor to clients. As a strong leader with good people management skills, provide vision, guidance, mentoring, and training to junior staff. Work with senior practitioners to collaboratively conduct marketing and business development activities to generate and maintain revenues and profits from new or existing clients based on our "seller-doer model". Collaborations Collaborate with Health Science and Product Safety and Stewardship practitioners within and outside local business unit and internationally in the management, planning, innovation, marketing, business development, project implementation, recruiting, training, mentoring, and other activities.
