Home Health Clinical Director

Position Summary: The Home Health Clinical Director is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical operations of a home health program. This role partners with field staff and leadership to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care, while maintaining operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage daily clinical operations to ensure effective and efficient service delivery Provide leadership to promote quality, safety, and patient satisfaction Oversee staff education, competency, and performance evaluations Ensure appropriate staffing levels and clinical capacity to meet patient needs Monitor care delivery for quality, compliance, and adherence to standards Address patient concerns and implement process improvements as needed Support and develop clinical supervisors and team members Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams regarding patient care Drive recruitment, hiring, and retention of clinical staff Participate in performance improvement and quality initiatives Qualifications: Active professional licensure in a healthcare field (e.g., RN, PT, OT, SLP) Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role Experience in home health or a similar healthcare setting preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality standards Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members
