Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse located in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This position involves managing all nursing care within the operating room, observing the surgical team from a broad perspective, and assisting the team to create and maintain a safe, comfortable environment for the patient's surgery. The role requires experience with trauma centers and specific surgical techniques, supporting high-quality patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 4-10 hour days, Monday through Friday, from 06:30 to 17:00. On-call requirements include 1-2 shifts per week from 17:00 to 23:00.
• Required Qualifications: RN license, BLS, ACLS certifications; minimum two years of experience in an operating room setting; experience with a level 1 or 2 trauma center, DaVinci Robot, neuro-spine, and cranial surgeries.
• Preferred Qualifications: Pediatric OR experience, orthopedic trauma experience, Cerner EMR experience (candidates do not need Cerner experience to be considered).
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in an operating room environment.
• Travel and Certification Requirements: Travelers must attach required license and certifications; must include drivers license and the permanent home address matching ID; candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
• Additional Information: Position is for a 13-week assignment at a facility with a substantial number of beds. Candidate selection involves review of certifications and experience, with a commitment to maintaining a safe surgical environment.
