As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a utilities-related industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, production areas, storage locations, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, and delivery vehicles in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as required.
• Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation while maintaining a professional presence and following Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
