Job Title: Registered Nurse, Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 3 years in emergency department settings License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Must not be a previous employee. Must be willing and able to work charge nurse and preceptor roles if needed. Candidates with licensure issues will not be considered. Description: The Registered Nurse is an essential member of the patient care team. Responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process. The RN will be responsible for assessing patients upon admission and throughout their stay. Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood as needed. Provide patient education. Document nursing care actions, patient teaching, observations, and patient responses. Experience in emergency department settings is required. Candidates should have experience in critical care nursing. Holiday coverage will be required. Candidates must reside outside of a specified radius.
