As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time in Madison WI this role is designed to provide reliable consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.64 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (Anchor Shifts): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. Its all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility income stability and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to visitors drivers and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify credentials and/or visitor information and document arrivals departures and deliveries in accordance with post instructions.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Help to deter unauthorized access trespassing and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and observing activity at gates checkpoints and restricted areas.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter noting unusual conditions and reporting security-related concerns hazards and/or maintenance issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
