Job Description Hospitalist Medical Director | 1 Hour South of Atlanta Upson Regional Medical Center | Thomaston, Georgia Core Clinical Partners Core Clinical Partners is seeking an experienced and motivated Medical Director to lead our Hospital Medicine program at Upson Regional Medical Center. This is a full-time, W-2 leadership role with both clinical and administrative responsibilities. As Medical Director, you will play a key role in program leadership, clinician engagement, and collaboration with hospital administration, while maintaing a clinical presence to support quality patient care. Facility Highlights: 1 Day Hospitalist Physician (7a-7p) 1 Day NP/PA (7a-7p) Dedicated Nocturnist NP/PA (7p-7a) Average Daily Census: ~30 115-bed community hospital 10-bed Open ICU with tele-intensivist support EMR: Meditech Expanse Position Overview: Leadership - Provide oversight, mentorship, and guidance for a team of day hospitalists and APPs. Clinical - Balance of clinical shifts and protected administrative time. Scheduling - Standard 7on/7off moded, with flexibility in administration coverage. Engagement - Partner closely with Core and hospital leadership to maintain program stability, quality metrics and clinician satisfacation. Collaboration - Work in tadem with Emergency Medicine leadership to ensure coordinated patient care.
