Opportunity Overview A banking organization is seeking a Credit Administration Specialist to support its lending function through loan administration, portfolio data management, and recurring management reporting. This opportunity is well suited for a Loan Assistant, Loan Administrator, or lending operations professional who understands the fundamentals of loans and has particularly strong Excel and reporting skills. The position will work with loan information across the portfolio and help prepare monthly and quarterly reports used by management for portfolio monitoring and risk-management purposes. Prepare monthly and quarterly loan and portfolio reports. Use Excel to organize, analyze, reconcile, and present loan data. Support ongoing portfolio monitoring and reporting activities. Apply working knowledge of loans and lending terminology when compiling portfolio information. Coordinate with lending and other internal teams to obtain required loan information. Maintain organized and accurate loan-related records and data. Assist with additional loan administration and reporting responsibilities as required. Ideal Candidate Profile Prior experience in loan administration, loan assistance, lending operations, or a related banking function. Working knowledge of basic loan concepts and terminology. Understanding of how loan information is collected, maintained, and reported. Strong Excel skills are essential. Practical experience with PivotTables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP strongly preferred. Experience compiling or preparing recurring management reports. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy. Ability to organize and work with multiple sources of loan information. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Commercial lending exposure is a plus. Comfortable working independently with data while collaborating with lending and management teams. Prefer a purely clerical role with minimal analytical responsibility. Are looking primarily for commercial credit underwriting or lending authority. Are uncomfortable being accountable for the accuracy of recurring management reports. Compensation Compensation will be competitive and based on the selected candidate's banking experience, loan administration background, Excel proficiency, and reporting capabilities.
