Assembly Technician 1st Shift

ZIEHL-ABEGG is looking for a high energy and results‑oriented Assembly Technician, who can be a strong contributor to our heavily expanding company. Assembly Technician 1st Shift Your main responsibilities will be: Assembling various types of industrial fans per work order and within stated scrap rates Balancing & testing fans and motors Staging parts Using precision measurement equipment Daily workplace cleaning Operating a forklift & pallet jack Other duties as assigned Job Requirements: Working with basic hand tools & precision measuring equipment. Basic math skills Experience with inventory Working with hand tools, detail oriented in a fast paced environment, familiar with metric system Familiar with windows based computers Knowledge of lean manufacturing Ability to stand on concrete for the entirety of the shift Ability to pick up and move parts Heavy lifting (50 lbs. to 70 lbs.)
