Position Overview: The Technologist performs nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist. This role requires independence, sound judgment, and adherence to safety standards. The position involves both scheduled and emergency procedures.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform nuclear medicine and PET imaging procedures without constant supervision.
• Use prescribed ionizing radiation and radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic purposes.
• Ensure radiation safety standards are met at all times.
• Participate in clinical activities, including on-call shifts.
• Handle both routine and emergency imaging cases.

Schedule Options:

• Full-time, Day Shift (1.0 FTE).
• Part-time, Day Shift (0.8 FTE).

Required Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent education/experience.
• One of the following certifications upon hire:
  • ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • NMTCB Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
• Knowledge and experience with established imaging procedures and protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Training in FDG handling and PET scanner operation.
