Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Credentials:

• Current Texas Physical Therapist license in good standing
• Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program, including all required fieldwork
• Valid driver’s license
• Commitment to all Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners’ ethics and regulations
• Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Professionalism in both interaction and appearance

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct physical therapy services to students on a part-time basis
• Evaluate students, participate in the referral process, and conduct thorough assessments
• Collaborate in the development of IEP goals, supporting educational staff and families
• Attend and provide input at IEP, review, and dismissal meetings
• Support the integration of assistive technology and adaptive equipment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Stay current on best practices and required professional development
• Contribute to transition services as needed
• Additional duties as requested by Special Education leadership
