PHP Lead/Architect
Location: Boston, MA, NJ, NC, TX, CA - Hybrid/Remote
Duration: Contract/Full Time
Job Description:
- 10+ years of experience designing and developing large scale web applications in PHP, using patterns such as MVC and advance PHP and Oops concepts.
- Experience in Architecting and designing large scale applications
- Experience researching and resolving complex production issues expeditiously. Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for improving site reliability and user experience. Experience or good understanding of Site Reliability Engineering practices is desirable.
- Experience with Scrum/Agile software development methodology and familiarity with tools like Jira.
- Familiarity with Test-Drive Development and Shift Left testing.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, CI/CD, and testing tools.
- Experience in React, GraphQL, Java, Microservices is good to have.
- Experience/exposure to container and cloud technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and GCP is a plus.
- Experience leading and mentoring a small team. Positive, people-oriented, and energetic attitude.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with various stakeholders including members of the onsite team in the US.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
