Education/Experience/Skills:
- Minimum of a High School Degree
- Post High School Engineering Degree earned (2 year) or equivalent experience preferred.
- Possess State of MN License applicable to the boiler capacity for all district buildings with other site specific licensure as needed.
- Experience working with school district maintenance procedures, methods and policies and the ability to properly instruct and oversee subordinates.
- Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and appropriate dress and appearance.
- Personal attributes necessary for working within a team setting and creating an inviting and welcoming environment.
- Knowledge of computer programs and willingness to learn specific systems used within the district (ex: electronic maintenance request system).
- Detail orientated
- Must be able to work in confined areas (ie: boiler room)
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with no physical restrictions.
