Pay Range: $40 - $45/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive) Introduction We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Lead to drive data governance initiatives with a strong focus on Metadata Management, Data Lineage, Data Catalog, and Data Quality Governance. This role will be responsible for establishing governance frameworks, ensuring end-to-end visibility of critical data assets, and enabling trusted data for analytics, reporting, AI, and regulatory compliance. Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5-6 years of experience in data governance or related fields
- Strong focus on Metadata Management, Data Lineage, and Data Quality Governance
- Experience in establishing governance frameworks and driving adoption across the enterprise
- Ability to engage with both business stakeholders and technology teams
- Prior work experience in the client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Experience with enterprise data catalog tools
- Knowledge of regulatory, audit, and risk management requirements
- Leadership experience in data governance councils and working sessions
- Lead the implementation and adoption of enterprise metadata management capabilities
- Define and maintain business, technical, and operational metadata standards
- Drive onboarding of critical data assets into the enterprise data catalog
- Develop and maintain end-to-end data lineage across various platforms
- Collaborate with engineering teams to automate lineage capture and visualization
- Establish governance processes for metadata stewardship, ownership, and lifecycle management
