Travel RN - ICU

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a night shift position requiring TX or compact RN license and 2+ years of critical care experience.

Job Details

• Intensive Care Unit setting with 24 beds plus 2 recovery beds,
• Patient ratios of 1:1 and 1:2,
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,
• No call requirements,
• Float to HVU and PCU at a 1:4 ratio,
• EMR currently MEDHOST, transitioning to Cerner,
• No 48-hour or block scheduling,

Job Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required,
• Current BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required,
• 2+ years of ICU experience required,
• Critical care experience required,
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment,
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months,

Additional Information

• Scrubs in any solid color are required,
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility,
• No local candidates considered due to radius rule,
• RTO requests must be less than one week,
• Previous CHS facility staff employed within the past 2 years as permanent staff will not be considered,
