Sales Operations Administrator

Mean Green Mowers is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Sales Operations Administrator to become the hub of our sales team. This person will support our outside sales representatives, customers, and internal operations by ensuring orders, pricing, paperwork, and customer requests are handled accurately and efficiently.

Mean Green Mowers designs and manufacturers innovative commercial zero-turn, battery powered turf care products. We build, sell and service mowers for the commercial user who requires equipment that runs all day, every day, with little to no maintenance. We are eco-friendly (no gas, no fumes, and much quieter operation), and our equipment allows mowing professionals to mow for 8 hours on a single charge. We are committed to both customer support and product quality. With fully integrated operations, we improve response times, increase parts availability, strengthen communication, and maintain tighter quality control across the entire product lifecycle.

This is a fast-paced position that combines customer service, sales support, administrative work, light bookkeeping, and marketing coordination. If you enjoy staying organized, solving problems, and helping a team succeed, we'd love to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

• Enter customer orders into QuickBooks accurately and efficiently
• Process customer payments, invoices, credit memos, rebates, and discounts
• Prepare pricing sheets, quotes, bid documents, fleet paperwork, and sales forms
• Maintain current pricing and promotional information
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with product questions
• Learn the Mean Green Mowers product line, including models, specifications, accessories, and pricing
• Support outside sales representatives with quotes, paperwork, and customer requests
• Follow up on sales inquiries generated through our website
• Coordinate equipment demos, trade shows, travel arrangements, and sales events
• Maintain inventory availability lists for the sales team
• Assist with light bookkeeping and sales-related accounting tasks
• Help create basic marketing materials, forms, and sales documents
• Work closely with accounting, operations, and the sales team to ensure excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Comfortable creating invoices and posting payments in accounting software
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Customer-focused with a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn technical products and assist customers with basic product questions
• Previous experience (5 years) in an administrative, accounting or coordinator position

Preferred but not required:

• Experience with QuickBooks
• Sales support or inside sales experience
• Social media or basic marketing experience
• Experience with international shipping or export documentation
• Knowledge of the outdoor power equipment, lawn care, or agricultural industries
• Experience assisting with equipment demonstrations
