We are seeking a dependable and experienced HR Specialist / Payroll Administrator to join our team and assist with payroll, human resources, and daily administrative financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
• Prepare and issue checks as needed
• Coordinate with banks regarding company transactions and accounts
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation
• Assist with onboarding, new hire paperwork, and employee files
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
• Handle confidential employee and financial information with professionalism and discretion
• Support office administration and accounting-related tasks
• Communicate with employees regarding payroll and HR-related questions
• Assist management with reporting and administrative support as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HR, payroll, or office administration experience preferred
• Experience in the construction industry is a plus
• Strong understanding of payroll processing and general office procedures
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality at all times
• Professional communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and payroll/accounting software
• SHRM certification is a plus
