We're partnering with an established and growing quick-service restaurant organization to identify an exceptional General Manager for a leadership opportunity in Peoria, Illinois .

This is more than a management role, it's an opportunity to lead the business like an owner. We're seeking a hands-on leader who excels at building strong teams, driving profitability, and creating an outstanding guest experience while maximizing earning potential through operational excellence.

Current or recent management experience with Sonic Drive-In is highly preferred. Due to the unique operational model of this concept, candidates with Sonic General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Restaurant Manager experience will receive priority consideration. Candidates with proven success leading Sonic operations are strongly encouraged to apply.

Relocation may be considered for highly qualified candidates with directly relevant experience who are open to relocating to the Peoria, Illinois area for the right long-term opportunity.

What You'll Do

• Lead all day-to-day restaurant operations
• Own the restaurant's P&L and overall financial performance
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop high-performing management and hourly teams
• Drive labor efficiency, food cost control, inventory management, and profitability
• Ensure exceptional food quality, safety, cleanliness, and operational execution
• Analyze business metrics and implement action plans to improve restaurant performance
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and outstanding guest service
• Lead by example with a hands-on, operator-first leadership style

What We're Looking For

• Current or recent management experience with Sonic Drive-In is highly preferred
• General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Restaurant Manager experience within the Sonic brand will receive priority consideration
• Proven success leading high-volume Quick Service Restaurant operations
• Strong experience managing P&L, labor, food cost, inventory, staffing, and scheduling
• Demonstrated success developing managers and building high-performing teams
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading drive-in or drive-thru restaurant operations
• Multi-unit leadership experience is a plus
• Candidates open to relocating within Illinois are encouraged to apply

Compensation consists of a competitive base salary plus one of the strongest monthly performance bonus programs available. High-performing General Managers have the opportunity to earn approximately $85,000 annually, with top performers exceeding $100,000 through operational excellence and achievement of key business metrics.
