Our client is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Endoscopy /

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Duration: 3+ Months
Department: Endoscopy (ENDO)
Shift: Day Shift, 8-hour shifts
Hours: 40 hours/week

Job Summary:
Seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care within the Endoscopy/GI Lab setting. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and support positive patient outcomes throughout diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures.

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse Diploma required
• Active RN license in the state of practice
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA)
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Proficiency with computer systems and healthcare applications
• Endoscopy/GI Lab experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care using the nursing process
• Assess patient needs and provide education to patients and families
• Coordinate care and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Utilize clinical data to improve patient outcomes and quality of care
• Manage and delegate nursing resources effectively
• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Support patient satisfaction and professional nursing excellence

Additional Information:

• 40 hours per week
• Variable 8-hour shifts based on procedure schedules (examples: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• Participation in after-hours GI call coverage, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required
